Hack@Brown – Design Lead
As part of the design team coordinating Brown University’s annual hackathon, I created various 3D designs and animations using Cinema 4D to bring playfulness and inclusivity to the forefront of the event’s visual identity. Website reached over 1000+ users and generated 300+ signups.
Celebrate – UI/UX Intern
I created designs for both mobile and desktop platforms, starting from ideation to high fidelity mockups in order to facilitate an intuitive, clean look for Celebrate, a CA-based start-up that takes the guesswork out of gifting using wishlists and group gift funds.
UCSD 3D Printing Research Intern
Proposed and led experiments that tested the effect of 3D printing infill designs on mechanical properties (published in ACS 2021). Worked in a wet lab to test the 3D printability of various composite polymer materials for soft robotics.
Outliers Magazine – Founder and Editor-in-Chief
I founded a student-run modern culture magazine inspired by editorial fashion magazines. I assign deadlines, critique designs,and organize general art direction for each issue. Each year we publish 200+ copies to distribute on campus.
Spirit Skies – Art Lead
I led a group of 30+ students to publish a full-length, fantastical graphic novel about environmental responsibility. I managed deadlines, was the point of contact for writers and publishers, and presented at conferences including Comic Con International in the summer of 2019 and 2020.
AGG USA Federation – Lead Web Designer
I designed and maintained the webpage for the USA Aesthetic Group Gymnastics Federation using Wordpress. I created easy-to-navigate pages and learned to use third party apps to optimize search results.
